This needs to be done when opening the 2-3 feed and band release holes with 1996 and later valve bodies. With the Corvette servo and running .020" - .035" 3-4 clutch clearance, the band release hole should be .099" - .101", and the 2-3 feed hole at .135" Max.
With the Sonnax servo and running .020" - .035" 3-4 clutch clearance, the band release hole should be .104", and the 2-3 feed hole at .140" - .157". With the Superior servo we have run the 2-3 feed hole at .187" and band release at .110" for years in a couple of vehicles.

I blocked the 3-2 downshift valve inboard. Is this something different or did I block the wrong valve?

Should I block the 3-2 control valve also?

Yes, you can block that hole if you want. I have done it both ways over the years without any issues.

got my car back today - SUCCESS!

Very pleased with it now. Fluid flushed, fresh filter, new 1-2 accumulator piston and enhanced spring and all working fine now! now more weird shifting!

thanks for the help and advice.

Awesome! I'm glad everything worked out for you. I'm a big fan of the sonnax enhanced spring and love it in my car, hence the recommendation
