Default Best 4l80e rebuild book/video

Has anyone used a DVD or book to build an 80E I was looking at ATSG build book and dvd to build a 4l80e, and the GM 4L80E Rebuild Procedures by Cliff McCormick or "transmission bench.com build videos for 80e? Does any one have experience with either of these?

I was hoping to buy one of the videos to rebuild one.

Any info would be great guys.

Have you rebuilt any transmissions before?

They really don't get a whole lot easier than a 4l80e or th400. Maybe a glide.

If you have, then an ATSG should be more than sufficient for rebuilding an 80e.

How much power will it be for, what combo will it be paired with?

Transmission Bench, hands down. HD videos, slow and steady pacing, very detailed explanations.
You can download the videos for a fee or buy them in other formats.

I rebuilt my 4l60e with his videos and they surpass anything else on the market or Youtube.

(maroonmonsterls1) I have built a th350 about 12yrs ago. I know I have the skill ,it would be way less of a head ache to have a dvd or Manual though.

(coryforsenate) Thats a strong endorsement . if I end up going that route I will probably go with trans bench.

Here's one of his videos for the 4l60e so you can have an idea of what you'd be getting. He posted the sets of videos for three or four transmissions for free on Youtube.

The Cliff McCormick book is very good and so much better than the ATSG, it can be difficult to find though as it's no longer in print.

LOTS of online converters. Just google "youtube to mp4" and take your pick. Typically you just copy the youtube link and past it into the converter page.
