4l60e pump rebuild kit
Hi all....could someone tell me where I can get a pump rebuild kit for the 4l60e in my '95 GMC K1500 4x4. Having no luck finding one....that seems strange. And is my pump a 10 or 13 vane pump? jl

You should take your pump out and look at it before ordering parts. If the pump failed it usually damages the housing to the point of needing machine work with tools hardly no one has except huge transmission rebuild companies.
If it's damaged it might be better to get a rebuilt assembly, and if it's not you will know what parts to buy. '95 probably had a 10 vane but it doesn't matter, you can swap in a 13 vane and not notice a difference.

If it does not to be re-machined, then I can help you with everything that is needed here. If the pump needs to be re-machined, find a local machine that can do this if possible, otherwise use will need another pump to start with. The 1995 uses a 10 vane rotor and slide setup. DO NOT put a 13 vane rotor setup in a 10 vane pump. The 13 vane pump is completely different, not just vane count.

So, a 13v slide needs to stay with a 13v pump housing, but you can mix and match the rotors. Even putting a 7v into a 13v slide if you want.

If you need a pump it usually isn't perfect.

When using a 13V pump, you can change rotor count just use the 13V slide. Some units that I have helped with, we use the 10V or 7V rotor depending on horsepower and WOT rpm shift points. The 10V or 7V rotor is stronger, and rarely breaks.

Your ebay link goes to the correct parts for a 10-vane pump internals kit.
As mentioned, post pics of the two halves where the pump rotor runs; it is likely worn after 23 years.

I have 2 7 vane rotors on the shelf but haven't had a high enough rpm unit to necessitate them yet
