Default Double Check: 2004 5.3 mated to a 2008 4l60e

From what I've read on this site I should have no trouble with the below, but I want to double check before I buy parts.

I have a 2004 5.3 (avalanche) motor and a 4l60e trans and converter. The motor came with no flexplate. I should be fine to buy a standard flexplate from a parts house for a 2004 5.3 and it should bolt to the 2008 4l60e with no spacers or other parts needed, correct?

Thanks,
Brandon

Yes a dished style LS1 flexplate for a 5.3L will work perfectly. No need for any spacers.
