Was it an amazing experience the first time you stood in it? I've seen people say that their car feels slower going from t56 to auto, my experience was the opposite, car felt lightyears faster.

I did a built 60e to this 80e. It shifts way smoother, doesn't feel faster but ive only hit it on 18#. haven't hit it on kill. The 10 bolt is barely hanging in there... swapping another one in this weekend. so I can see what its like on kill. Just sent my DS to get balanced. had a vibration at 60 mph and up. They said the DS was WAY Off balance they had to cut the weights off and re weight it. hopefully it fixes the issue.

So I've got a question for everyone who has done this swap: What's the deal with the shift lever off the transmission?
I just got my 80e and engine mounted in the car last night. I've read a couple of articles saying you have to completely cut and fabricate a new shift arm, and other articles/forums mention nothing about having to do it to make the swap. I can tell you the brackets on the 60 and 80 are different, with the 80's being a bit longer and having a different fitting on the end (not the "ball" style that's on the 60's).
Can anyone enlighten me on if the 60's should be reused as-is, or if other mods have to be done to make something work?
Any input is appreciated.
