Not the monster kit.

Superior makes a kit

Transgo makes kits that allow you to do lockup with no electronics.

I personally like the superior kit with a timer. The timer just sets a short delay. So you shift into 4th gear then the delay is about 1.5 seconds and then you get lockup. Have a brake switch after the lockup delay...that way the brake switch can interuupt lockup and it can go right back into lockup with no delay if you let off brakes. It's the simplest and smoothest solution I have found that many customers like.

The Painless lockup kit is trouble free and is what I have recommended fro the last 10+ years now, with very little complaint. Get the part number from Painless and then shop around for the best price on it. If you have the transmission out of the vehicle, add the dual feed capsule from GM for a better lockup. I use this capsule on all pre 1995 units. Makes for a better lockup without it being annoying. GM PN 8685839
