Hello,

any one tried installing custom DCT automatic transmission in C6 Z06 corvette?

is there any high quality automatic transmission manufacturing company that can make a custom DCT automatic transmission specificaly for the C6 Z06 corvette?

the DCT automatic transmission will make the C6 Z06 much quicker and faster and even more fuel efficient as we can see in the Nissan GTR and the Lamborghini Gallardo.

any one has ideas?

The C6 has a transaxle, gearbox ahead of the axle, its technically feasible, but it will be exponential dollars. You'd have to rework the Lambo version, the GTR version isn't going to like the torque curve of the Z06/V8.. I don't even want to think about hacking the Lambo TCM to work with a Corvette Engine management, only other option would be a full race version that cost more than a C6 Z06 by a lot.. Then paying the specialty company to tune the setup..

The other option might be working with a ford truck DCT and a divorced diff.. again a lot of fab work..
