Goodwrench 4l60e rebuilds -
Trans in my '95 K1500 was a Goodwrench rebuild...low/reverse clutches were cooked but otherwise fine.
I put it back together with new clutches/steels/bushings/seals and a few upgrades.
Only then did I read in the threads that the Goodwrench rebuilds have a rebored TCC valve bore and the PWM valve in the valve body is oversize.
DANG...wish I'd known this. Wondering now if I have a mess of a valve body!
Any other surprises to be found in the Goodwrench rebuilds??

TECH Junkie
Its just a reamed bore and new valve. Just to cure the wear/leaks in the original valve body.
Nothing special or magic

I've seen a few gm remans. Quality seems poor.
Last one I had apart I bought off c list. It was a Gm reman with a standard size transgo tcc valve. I've seen quite a few with the stock size valve. It seems parts need to pass a low standards quality check then get reused.

If you need the "oversize" PWM valve, I carry the TransGo PWM eliminator valve that will make it a on/off valve, thereby eliminating the PWM. Measure the diameter of the valve. The standard diameter is .440", and the oversize is .471".
