4l60e servo pin tool J-33037 Kent Moore
PROBLEM SOLVED.....
Do any of you guys own this tool? Kent Moore J-33037???? I scored a used one cheap. It looks like someone has moved the black pin for some reason. If any of you guys here own this tool Could help me with the correct pin length. I need the correct distance from the face to the white line. Help is much appreciated.
I know my tape measure is not the best way to measure it but its what I had with me. If someone could measure theirs with a machinist ruler or caliper I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Update just in case anyone out there on the forum buys a used J-33037 tool. The factory measurement from the handles face to the white line is 1.156" or 29.62mm. Big thanks to Freedomracing for the help. My tool was off just a little not much and probably would have really mattered but it wasn't perfect and now it is. The pin is only held in place with locktite probably just got loose over time.

I dug mine out and measured it. I bought it brand new, I have never modified it. It measured .996 to approximately the middle of the line. Seems like I remember in GM class, we were told that it was 1 inch. That was over 30 years ago... I don't think I've used it since TransGo taught me a different way to do it.

Thx for the reply. I haven’t done anything to mine yet, it has been sitting in WD40 bath for the last few days. I did measure mine with a caliper though and it measured .975”. Pin was loose. Before I use it I was going to check it against my new build with 1/8” pin travel just to be sure anyway. Thanks again for the reply.

J-33037-2 pin or sleeve measurements
Hi folks!
I know this thread is pretty old but maybe there's someone out there who can help me out: I recently purchased the servo pin tool but it's missing the "sleeve" which holds the actual servo pin. I guess it's basically a pretty simple part and I might be able to make it myself (have a lathe, fortunately). Maybe one of you guys could send me the measurements and/or a little sketch?
Thanks a lot
Andy
