1999 z28 doesn't shift into drive
 

Hi, new here. I recently purchased a z28 Camaro and it will not shift into drive or overdrive. I have just replaced all of the transmission solenoids and it still wont shift into drive. Is it possible the the bands have slipped? Any help is appreciated.

If you a getting a 1-2 shift and a slip with the 2-3 shift. The solenoids are functioning fine. Chances are you have the #1 Failure to the 4L60E transmission, 3-4 clutch. It's likely rebuild time. How's the fluid level? Is it Black?

Thank you so much! I just looked into it and you are indeed right. It is the 3-4 clutch pack. Guess it is rebuild time lol. Again thank you for the help!
