4l80e yoke driveshaft input length 
Hey guys see the photo of my 4L 80 E Driveshaft shaft input on a Ls swap car I have. I’ve been battling a bad drive shaft vibrations on this car.The length of the input is 5 inches and it seems like 3.5 inches are going inside the 4l80e as you can see below. there is another 1.5 inches that are not inside the transmission.
Could this be a cause of the vibration the driveshaft I think may be too long what do you guys think thank you

Does the output shaft have splines all the way? Or did it have a bolt on yoke at one time? If it had a bolt on yoke you might need a counter bored slip yoke if you don't already have one there. If you had a non counter bored yoke and an output shaft that has a step for a bolt on yoke then yes, the driveshaft may seem too long but the proper fix is actually make it longer and install a counter bored yoke.
