Default Magic stick v.3 cam with stock converter?

I have a magic stick cam and all bolt-ons and I havent installed the torque converter yet.(yank ss 3800) What kind of power will it make on the stock converter? I am getting a dyno friday and I was wondering if anyone has dynoed on the stock converter with a big cam. (stock heads)
thanks

high stall tq converters actually take way HP on the dyno if the converter is not locked, so really the dyno will mean nothing IMO. But you want to have the car tuned properly after the converter install.

Our MS3 camshaft with a factory torque converter is going to be a HANDFUL! It will probably be a dyno queen, but it's not going to be fun to drive at all. As Lynda mentioned, a higher stall speed torque converter will kill some power on the dyno, but it's possible to shave off up to .8 in your 1/4 ET from the converter alone!

I have a Yank SS4000 and wouldn't dream of having anything near stock stall with this cam. Yeah your numbers will be there but your missing so much with that. Save you money till you get the converter in then tune and dyno, unless you have the money to burn.
