Default What size cam and converter are you running?

I'm trying to get an idea of what combos people are running and how happy they are. If they wish they had a bigger converter or a bigger cam or more gearing. I'm looking at going with the Yank SS3200 just because it has a reasonably low STR but I'm trying to pick a cam that will match it nicely. I'm wondering if a 224/224 LSA 114 will be too big for the SS3200 with my 3.23 gears. I'm trying to stay below that line between happy trans and sad trans

Thanks!

stock cam, 2.73's, 3800 2.5str tci converter. juice? soon maybe. love the setup.., with any taller gears would've went 4000 at least- nice weather daily driver. which equates to about half of the year where i live.

if it is adjusted/ tuned properly you'll love a nice high stalled converter, i don't care who you are.

I have a 3500 stall, 3.73 gears, and a G5X2 cam. I wish I had gone with a 3800 stall instead but other than that no regrets, my car runs great

hmm i have just odered my f14 on a 114 lsa, i spray a 150 shot.. how will that work with the 4000 stall? id think that be to much stall for a 150 shot.. what gear?

im prolly doing 3500/3.73's, im not dissapproving, just trying to figure out whats best for me!

my torque converter is a custom built tci stall based off of the ssf 3500, but it is a 4000 and has all the anti-balooning plates and necessary hardware to take the gas. it flashes to about 4200 on the spray. i have 3.73 gears as well.
