Default 400 turbo in f body???

i put it in got every thing hooked up but how do i get the mechanical speed to work with factory electronic speedo who makes a kit for this and what dip stick to use? help want to get back on road thanks

I'm not experienced on this but I believe you need to have a pickup ring installed on the output shaft and modify it to fit the electronic VSS.

Summit racing sells a dip stick from lokar that will work. Just tell them it is for a th400. It goes for about 70 dollars. I don't remeber what my friend bought to make the speedowire work, but I did wire it up. Run a search on here.

It is all up in the FAQ sticky.

With the Lokar, you need to specify 44" otherwise it will be under the cowl area and hard to refill the trans.

Use the speedometer items from a 4L80 (3 speed trans) truck, part numbers were previously posted (GM# 8655291, 8655315), they work perfectly on ex-A4 cars. Just cut the (will verify wire colors) wires and splice them to the connector (p/n: 12085498)

i had to buy a relutor wheel and tailshaft from century transmission to get my stock speedo to work. I think yank sells a kit also.
