BFG's or Nittos? BFG's or nittos for my 3800 stalled car? 255/50-16 BFG, or a 245/50-16 nitto I've run 2 passes on a set of used Nittos and got a 1.70 short time but now I'll be running my car with a set of Stage 2 heads. 2.73 rear so hooking up isnt so bad for me. I was leaning to the BFG's but if Nitto's will still be more than sufficient I'll save the money. what are yall's experiences? Thanks guys |
nittos for a daily driver and BFGs otherwise. BFGs hook better but wear out faster. careful of your 10 bolt. :eek2: |
personally experience with both, the BFGs did hook just a lil better but the nittos lasted a good bit longer so as ultimateorangeSS said nittos for daily & BFGs otherwise but if its gonna see mostly all track use then get some M/T DRs, they hook like a mofo but then definatly careful on the 10-bolt w/ those Is a cam going in along w/ those heads? BTW, 3.42s or 3.73s would be a good all around gears for that verter if ur gonna change gears soon |
I ended up ordering some BFG's. these are only race tires as I drive on 17x10 Boyd Smoothies for daily driving. I'll have these mounted on some 16" rims for the track thanks guys |
