Default Leaning on Yank, But maybe now TCI

Just Read a post of some guy putting his dyno results Yank4400 vs TCI 4400, I dont know which oneto get now. My set up is a LID SLP Exhaust Looking for Good Drivability,But want a Hard hitting Tire Screatching converter at a roll at 40MPH Which one.TCI seems to be less espensive and great results, Yank More money same performance.Help me out guys

you are not playing around huh? 4400- hell yeah man.

i cannot comment on yank, but im a big fan of multi-disk converters, which tci now offers. you can talk to kevin windstead and pretty much have him build you whatever verter you want- stall/str/lockup clutch(s) etc...

tci is great and i love mult disc converters as well. If they tci had md when I bought my converter it would have been from them.

i bought my ssf 4200 slightly used from a member on this board.....from what he was saying tci(and kevin) seemed awsome to deal with, and on my end the converter is all i could have hoped for.......i'd never driven a high stall car before, but even the 2.2 str on this tc feels hard enough to me, especially since i just drive it on the street, for the most part...

I was in the same boat, I decided to go with a TCI SSF 3500.. Once I get it in I will report back..
