Default spray into 4th gear? load high or low on the tranny?

just a question i was thinking today. is the load high or low on the tranny if i sprayed the car into 4th gear for the last 200 or so feet of the quarter mile? a tranny guy said there is very little load on teh tranny since the car is already moving at 115+ mph at the 3-4 shift. he said the load is great on the launch.

i am running out of gear at about the 900-1000 footmark at this point. i know i am pushing through the convertor at this point. this wouldnt be something i would do very often. my tranny is "built" with all the goodies inside. i just want to see what the car is truely capable of and get the good timeslip.

TIA!

Just do it and let me know, lol! John you know I felt like this may be a problem for me also so I would love to figure it out, Fernando seemed pretty confident and I will ask if he want s me to when he builds mine. Maybe I can experiment with it?

affraid to lock up the convertor on the spray. this isnt a nitrous convertor. probably kill the lockup clutches.
