Default im new to the auto world.....got some questions

i plan to sell my 02 z28 m6 and buy either an ss or ws6 and i want an auto. ive been doing some research on stall converters and it sounds like a road i wanna look into. so from now til the time i sell this car and get my new one, u will see a lot of me in this section doing my research so ill know what im doing when it comes time to start modding. so, anything yall can throw at me right now is much appreciated. id like to hear feedback on different setups/combos yall have used, opinions/suggestions on different avenues i could take, etc.... like i said, im new to the auto side, so gimme a little encouragement that this will be a good decision. thanks fellas

The search feature is your friend. Look back at prior posts and you'll get tons of information to start off with.

I wind up knowing TONS about what I have now, but every time I get something new I feel like I hardly know a thing.

Do not skimp on the stall speed if you think you want a 3000 get a 3500 or 3800.. And do not let people tell you high stalls are to loose.. IMHO higher stall fell better than stock..

as soon as you get the car, go ahead and put the 4l60E in your garage.
get a built auto and dont go smaller than a 3500 stall

interested in a trade? im currently rebuilding a black 01 ws6. black leather. 70k. auto. i really wanted an m6 but its hard enough finding them normally. i was looking for a wrecked one so i could get it cheaper. so if ur asking, yes it will be rebuild salvage. brand new paint job. how much are u looking to get for ur car?

well, around 13-14k. it only has 15k miles on it and its in very very fine shape in and out. i would be interested in a trade but not a rebuilt car....thanks for asking tho. but if u are interested in mine lemme know.

If you want info on autos...hum......well heres what i would do if i was going to keep my auto https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/344891-ttp-equalizer-v-3-cam-only-a4-440-4rwhp-402rwtq.html

Go there, look at what he put down and with what little he had. I plan on letting them my work but i am getting out of the auto world and getting an m6....so ill just have them do the m6

like said above, dont go small on converter, youll love the big converted autos..
But if your intrested in a brand new verter...its a vig 4000 brand new in box with trans cooler let me know...
