Default will it hurt my transmission

i love to drive my car in the D, not the [D] drive. does it hurt the tranny to drive in D on the freeway?? it is alot more fun and picks up alot better than in [D].

Haven't had any problems with it, you will just turn higher rpm. If you wanna conserve gas, that's what the OD is for.

I leave it in D also, unless I wanna turn less than 2500 rpm. But mostly because I don't want to go into WOT from 4th to 3rd with this converter.

I leave mine in drive unless I will be cruising at or above 50 mph for a length of time, at which point I put it into OD. You should put it into OD on the highway though. No real need to turn 2500+ rpm. Just put your foot down a little more/quicker so it downshifts or unlocks and it'll move just as well in OD as D.
