Default What Stall for H/C & 100 to 150 shot?

I've done a search already and it looks like the yank PYE3600 is a good stall for (100 to 150 shot, cant decide) and heads and cam, but every one says with 3.73 gears it might shift into OD at the end of the 1/4. What would be the best stall and gears for street/strip, Because I am getting ready to buy that next for my car. Its stock weight car that is driven about 4 days a week and maybe will be brought to the track 4 times a years. I have all the suspension set up just need to buy ET streets for when going to the track . Heres a list of everything I have sitting in my spare bedroom waiting to installed, to help you guys out in suggestions:
5.3 FMS/Meaux Heads
Cam Motion Custom 230/234 .595/.598 112+2
All the Bolt-ons
Still have to buy nitrous set up
Thanks

You've made a good choice for your goals.

You'll have no issue with 3.73s. The ET streets are probably a hair bigger than stock and your cam allows 6600+ shift. That's probably all you'll need to handle the mph on a stock weight car. Since the PYE is designed to be locked up on the spray, that will give you the ability to lock-up and there's no way you'll be high enough in mph to outrun your set-up.

BTW, another limiting factor on mph is your stock tranny and rear. Unless you are prepared to break them, you'll be limiting the spray out of the hole and not spraying through the shifts.

Yes I know the I getting the trans built when my stall gets installed, but I'll just wait until the rear gives up before I put in a 12 bolt. Also what tire height do recommend 26"? Thanks for your reply

If you run more tire, you can go to 3.90s or maybe 4.10s. You'll probably want to go 28" but you should post that question in the proper forum where you'll get better feedback.

You're talking about a lot of cash yet to be expended (nitrous, converter, tranny, rear, tuning?); make sure you can afford to go through with things before you get half way there and end up with a bad combo.

Well what kind of tune are you running? You can tweak your shift points, the inportant thing is to keep it in the right power band for Nitros and a 3600 is a great stall with 3.73's,tire size can play a little on the that..
