4L60-E removal questions - already searched 1. The starter must come out to access the TC bolts correct?
2. Can the starter be removed and TC bolts accessed with Hooker LTs in place?
3. Assuming you can remove the starter with the Hookers in place, will the trans pull out without header removal?

1. Yes, the starter must be removed.
2. Yes, the long tubes can stay.
3. Depends. More than likely the headers can stay. However, most times the tubes after the long tubes (Ypipe or Xpipe) must be removed.

Cake! Yes as above, and depending on your Y pipe, you might be able to pull it back far enough and or drop it more. Hope you have a long-*** extension for the top three bellhousing bolts. I find it easier to use a 13mm swiveled socket, not a universal and socket and have fun.
