Default Tranny cooler fits were?

Problem is..My tranny crapped out on me and i just got a rebuilt one from gm.. i asked the guy if he could put my tranny cooler in while hes working on it, he said he couldnt find any room for it? my car is an 01 formula a4. Now would it matter what year my car is for the cooler because i now have a new tranny not knowing what year it is.? i got the cooler from summit. Or is this guy to lazy and not know what hes talking about?

Sounds lazy, mount it to the front of your AC condensor. Look under the front above the airdam, the thing that looks like the radiator is your AC condensor. They make special tiewraps that fit between the fins of the condensor(or radiator) to mount it. I did mine in about 20 to 30 minutes. He just didnt feel like doin it.

Don't know what cooler you have, but here's always room, mine is under the right front mounted horizontally (dope style) cause of my FTRA.

Mine doesnt' look like there is any room either. The cold air package is too close to the condenser.

That might be your problem then, since you have the SLP CAI. Take that out and you'll have room. Don't worry you won't miss it.
