Default I shouldn't loose e.t. should I ?

In the middle of a m6 to th400 swap and I was wondering if there was any concern that I would loose any e.t. at the track. I know I should pick up a good bit, for instance my best time is a (1/8) 7.65 @ 94.5 with a 1.68 I have been 97 in the 1/8. I know my 60' will be more consistent but will it get better?

Yes! You will be able to 60' better due to the converter, but that will also keep you from getting a better MPH.

How does the m6 console look with a ratchet shifter sticking out of it?

I'll play devils advocate here. Your 60' in the M6 is impressive. Beating a 1.68 even with an auto is not an easy task. If you only match that 60" then you will ET worse since you will be getting less HP to the wheels. So to actually get quicker you need to beat 1.68 60' times. Again, that is not easy to do. You'll want a decent size stall with a high STR and very sticky tires. The tires and STR will be key. If both are up to the task then 1.5 (or less) should be obtainable and you'll be one happy camper.

Good luck with the TH400 swap and welcome to the dark side of the force
