Front Pump #Q's

Say a converter is bolted to the flywheel, and had to be slid forward to engage the flywheel, if it was slid forward enough to keep it from engaging the front pump would that keep the car from shifting into gear? The transmission and the converter are new so I dont believe that anything could be broken.

I the trans making line pressure? It can be checked at the port above the shifter linkage. At idle some where about 80-100psi. If the is no pressure, you probably broke the pump.  :chug:

I should probably mention that its a th350, I'm going to re-shim the converter to the flywheel with a few washers. we measured the distance between the two when they are unbolted, definetly more than the 3/16 max that the instruction say, more like 3/8.
