4400 stall only brake stalls to 2200

Had my 4L60E rebuilt. Now it wont brake stall over 2200 and wont lock in 4th gear. It locks fine in 3rd though.

brake stall and flash stall are different.

lockup prob sounds like a tuning issue

Was the convertor rebuilt as well? They can loosen up over time and the stall can get higher. If it's brake stalling a little less than it did before, that would be why. Or your brakes could be worn if you're always launching it that way.

Edit: My flash stall is around 4200...for brake stall I would be lucky to get to 2500.

my 4k only brake stalls to ~3k before it starts pushing the front tires.

but it flashes slightly over 4k, it's hard to tell with the stock tach :|

Cruise at a low speed and when you hit 3rd gear stomp it. And see where it hits at. Also try to flash it from a stop.. Stall speed can also be in factor to the weight and the amount of power the car has.
