Default Trans or TC, which is broke?

for the last couple weeks my car has been driving funny. the other day my trans started to slip for a second going from 2-3 but would catch then drive like normal. then on the interstate my tc would not lock up in 4th and would lock and unlock. today it will hardly drive. it drives only in first and sometimes reverse wont work.

i bought the trans last feb from FLP and bought a TCI TC to go along with it. i dont see why either would go bad after just a year. i've only made 3 passes, high 12's, and am not pushing that much power through it.

Did you call your builder when you started having problems. Sounds like a good idea now...that it's broke!

My money is on the trans clutches being shot. I'm going through one right now that did that. The 3-4 clutches are burned down to the ground and 2nd has signs of excess heat.

are you low on tranny fluid? Remember to check it while the fluid is hot, be on a level surface, and for christ's sakes have the car running!!!
