Default 4L60E torque converter lockup switch install

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado with the 5.3 and 4L60E auto. trans. How to you wire in a switch to lockup the torque converter in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th? The pages on the Internet that I have found so far differ from the wiring on my truck. I also have a buddy that has a '96 Chevy 1500 with the 5.7 and 4L60E that wants to wire in a switch as well, but again all the mods that we are finding don't match our wiring in the truck. Any suggestions?

I would suggest finding someone with a helm's manual for your truck. It should give the specifics for the wire's coming out of the pcm, and which one controls the lock-up solenoid.
