Default Is my vig 3600 F**king up my tranny.

I just had the entire tranny rebuilt about 3 weeks ago and now its messed up again. I broke the bands and burned up the clutches. They say its because my stall is to big for the street, is this true for a dd? Is there anything I can do besides getting a different converter?
I have a tranny cooler.

well i know people who run yank 4000 on thier cars that are DD and they work fine

maybe you should see how hot your tranny is by running a temp gauge to see if you cooler is cooling properly

or it seems it could be a possibility that the person who re did you tranny didnt do it right?

I have a Yank SS3600 and I drive my car quite a bit and use it at the track and my 4l60e is still running strong.

It's not your converter tht is causing your problem.

4000 stall dd here. I would look into the builder/ repair man as a possible reason why.

i'd say its your HP numbers killing your tranny. Much like the stock 10bolt.....4L60E's tend to break often and whenever they feel like it. 420 FLYWHEEL hp is pushing the tranny a bit. With your n2O, you are pushing the tranny beyond what it was made for. Your power might be your problem.

I havent had a chance to spray it yet, but it is making good power.
