Default pro/con to manual forward valve body TH400?

friend is selling (extreme discount) a newly freshened up manual forward pattern valve body th400. probably a third of what others charge for a RMBV trans brake th400.

this is going in my TA. low power. cam only 150 shot car. other than the shifter being different, and no transbrake, what are the pros and cons?

Moving the stick forward to upshift while the g-forces are pushing you back just seems un-natural to me.

I agree, after having my RMVB it sure is nice at WOT to just pull back on the stick. Other than that there is no difference as far as driving one is concerned.
If your going with a full manual valve body and a 3 speed transmission do yourself a favor and put a huge stall in it.
A 4000 Coan came with my TH400 and I thought it was going to be to big......definately a whole lotta fun and not too big at all.

Is a forward pattern weaker for any reason compared to a reverse pattern? I couldn't see why it would be
