couple th400 q's

I would need a 9" tail shaft to keep the stock driveshaft with the stocker rear right? What about when I upgrade to a dana 60? What is the pro's and cons of the 9" tail shaft, weaker, stronger?

Are there any modifications I need to do to the bell housing for a th400?

For a t-brake setup, what are you guys using to regulate your rev limiter for the tbrake?

And as far as a converter goes, when I order one, I tell them it's going up to a flexplate for whatever year ls1 I have right? Will any ls1 flexplate work? Do I need anything special, shims/spacers? What do I do with my pilot bearing, since my car is currently a 6spd car?

What wires do I mess with for the neutral safety switch?

Any other speciality things I need to know?

Thanks

With a TH400 your going to need a custom driveshaft.
The 9 inch tailshaft only works with a TH350 in a 4th gen. Not sure about a 3rd gen.

Bell housing will bolt right up but you only use 5 bolts for an LS1.... I think.

When I finally hook up my T brake I will regulate RPM with my foot :jest:
You can use a 2 step for consistancy.

Someone else will have to chime in with the LS1 flexplate question or you can do a search and get that info.
I used a B&M SFI 153 tooth flexplate on my LT1.

I just twisted my nuetral safety wires together and called it a day.

Your going to need a way to mount your torque arm.
