have a few semi problems w/ the car after install of a new 4l60e, first i cant get the shifter to actually engage park, but the electronics thinks its in park so i can get my key out. when in park its really reverse on the tranny. if i put it in 1st, its like half way between 1,2 gear doesnt sit in either gear. the shifter on the tranny the lil switch thing is like 2.5 inches out off the tranny body while the old one was just the threads hanging out enough to be screwed on so im wondering if thats my problem. and the other problem thats getting me is when i drive normal its fine and dandy but when i punch it after it climbs to 5k on the tach itll act like its in neutral and open up and hit rev limiter rather shifting. so if anyone can help me w/ these problems ill be grateful of u.
