Default tci3000 or fuddle3400

I am thinking of getting one of the two.My car is a dd.It will not see the track.I am kind of scared to get a converter because of people having problems with tmamagment, rebuilding tranny, etc. What is the labor cost?do I need a tune.I have a 2800 stall but only flashes to 2800 after that it drops to 2200.The owner who had the stall said he only paid 100 bucks for it.

Sounds like a crappy stall, you definitely want to look into getting a larger stall for your LS1, 3400+ at least. If you want something cheap and good, go with Fuddle. However if you have more to spend go Vig or Yank. I can't speak from experience with those two brands though.

I installed a fuddle 3000 w/a 2.0 str last october. I went with that converter as my car has 2.73 gear's and did not want anything looser. My car is untuned and run's/shift's just fine. I also put in a good trans cooler to keep things on the chilly side as heat is the number 1 killer of transmissions.
If your car has the 3.23 gears the 3000 would be ok, but you would probably be more happy with the 3400 imo.
