Default What level FLT tranny would fit my car best

my tranny is on the way out and i have been looking at a lot of options. i'm really liking the FLT trannies though. my problem is what level suits my car best. right now it has full bolt-ons, 233/239 cam, 3.73 gears and currently a SSF3500, car is sort of a daily driver. i also plan on doing a set of heads and a 150 shot too. i'm just unsure of what level would suit my needs the level 3,4 or 5.

I'd say Level 5 since you are doing heads, cam, and spraying.

i've spoken with these guy's & talked to RPM in Dallas. RPM has several customers who have used their trany's with no reported problems. i spoke with vince i think if you ask him he'll be straight with you. my opinion go with the max your budget will handel. it's always better to have it & not need it

Fman your opinion is worthless and your car is slow...get another job so you can afford to go as fast as your mouth

RockOn---Flt---RPM are all good options. There are plenty of cars here running their trannies as well as CorvetteForum members. Call them all....get prices and see who earns your business.

another vote for building it to the highest level possible. If you dont have the money for the strongest available were are you going to get the money to rebuild a weak one?
