Vig 2800 or 3200 for LS1 with 3.73's and NOS? Help please!

Okay ,the day is coming soon. My installer Mark (whom in southern cali is known as the king of LS1's) recommends the 2800stall but I want some other opinions as well. My situation is I have 3.73's and will be getting a 50-125 dry shot of nos. My problem is I WILL NOT be running slicks since I will be on the stock rear-end and dont want to risk breaking it ,at most I will be running the 275/40.17 DR's once I get my 18's on. I want converter that is very driveable and that will work good with the 3.73's. Since the 2800 already stalls at about 3200 ,I think that will be enough for me ,what do you think?

You will want bigger. Go with the 3200. I went 1.4 60s with a TNT 100 shot blasting it outta the hole. Nice airtime

one of my good friends sprayed his 2800vig Z28 into the 11.1's on a 150shot with that converter. He was also running 12.1's NA!!

i would say the 3200 would be a nice choice, but the 2800vig may be better for n20

Thanks guys. I dont think I will be spraying out of the hole due to my stock rear end. Either way I think I will be happy so I think I'll just leave it up to Mark @Andys Auto.

If you are gonna be using a large shot of the giggly, the 3200 may flash way too high for ya. Many people have produced great ETs with the 2800 cuz its tighter and more efficient.

I hate to tell ya guys but the 3200 is the perfect N20 converter. Even when i hit it with the 150 TNT it was amazing. I blew the slicks right off and didn't run a good et but it still managed a 1.55 spinning. Id go with a 3200. Its the best choice for your application on NA as well as on da juice. Spraying out of the hole is not harmful wiuth an auto car. Unelss your a weenie . Balls to the wall man. You don't have a 6 speed car.

Ill probally stick to just a 50-125 shot ,no way am I going 175shot ,my car isnt modded for just straight line racing, especially once I get those heavey 18's.

If you run under a 150 shot, get the 3200. If you run a "manly" shot of 175 of greater, get the 2800 or a "purpose-built" nitrous converter.

The rear is less susceptable to break behind an auto since it doesn't shock the tires like a 6 speed does. Put you a solid crush collar in there and spray the piss out of it. I left the rear almost stock put some 3.42's in behind my auto and with the converter and spray went 1.4's with out a whine out of my rear end...Of the car that is.
