ST 3500 Install/SLP LT's Has anyone out there dropped their tranny after installing SLP LT's. I attemped to install my ST3500 this weekend until i sliced my finger open on the heat shield, went to ER got 4 stitches. When i was under the car it looked like my SLP's were going to get in the way of me dropping the trans out. Will the trans come down with the headers in place. any info will be great. |

Re: ST 3500 Install/SLP LT's Should be no problem, at least with the ORP. |
Re: ST 3500 Install/SLP LT's Ragtop have you done the job before. I don't want to start the job and get stuck in the middle. |

Re: ST 3500 Install/SLP LT's no. I have friends with SLP L-T and none of them have told me about any difficulties. I've never heard of anyone removing headers to drop the tranny on these cars. Worst case is that the Y-Pipe needs to be unhooked. |
Re: ST 3500 Install/SLP LT's Thanks a lot Ragtop |
Re: ST 3500 Install/SLP LT's no problems..... |
Re: ST 3500 Install/SLP LT's Just remove the y-pipe and you should have no problems dropping the tranny. |
