How much should my 3.73's cost installed?
 

I called this shop in town called "fearless gears" and the guy quoted me 750 for parts and labor....this seems high to me... what did you guys pay for yours???

I've it as low as $150 ... and as high as $400 just for the labor

Moving to drivetrain.

I just had my broken Motive 3:73's replaced with Strange Pro Stock 3:73's. The gears were $200.00, the labor was $175.00 and misc parts(seals,shims,gasket,gear lube)were about $100.00. So that's $475.00 total.

ok thanks..i think ill buy the parts seperate and find someone to do the labor for me cheaper than that shop wants to do it...

i paid 450 cash for everything, drive in/drive out. this included a spacer because i had a 2 series carrier in my old car. and it had a no noise gaurantee.

Hey Elite, Where did you have your gears done? I'm in Dallas, and was looking for a good place. Have you had any probs with the set up?

Sorry it took me so long to respond to your question but I just saw it. I had my gears done by Scott Walters, he works out of Kennedale drag strip. I HIGHLY recommend Scott, he does GREAT work, very reasonably priced and he's a great guy. Give him a call, you won't regret it. His number is 817 563-5371.
