Question Need help with A4 problem

I have a 2002 Z28 A4 with 10,000 miles on it, the car is street driven only, and has a Lid , S3 tb , Borla C/b. During normal driving the trans.shifts fine. When I go WOT the car pulls strong and will chirp 2nd gear. When it gets to high RPM`s the trans will release, which causes the car to stop pulling, and the engine will hit the rev limiter. The car has just started to do this.I have read a bunch of threads and I hear it could be the 3-4 clutch bands, shift lever out of adjustment, or a solinoid(spelling?).The car is still under GM warranty, and it sounds like I will be making a trip to the dealership . I am looking for input on the problem before I take to the dealer so I have a little knowledge on the issue. Any input would be appreciated!
