Default tranny went out in my 93' will 94' work?

Okay my tranny is going out in my 93' ta... I am buying a 4l60e from a 94' w/ a yank ss3600 stall. question is the plug that plugs into the tranny is different. I have the 5 pin plug. and the plug on the new tranny Im getting is a different color, the one on the tranny. and it looks like some diff. kind of connector? it is round but green and mine is gray. and it looks like some kind of flat connectors in the plug where mine is 5-pin. can I change the plug? or the connector that plugs into the tranny?

my 93' tranny isn't computer controlled. so I don't think I have the 4l60e. just the 4l60... will this still work somehow? or am I wasting money on the tranny...thanks..

You have a very rare trans in your car and it will not swap with out changing the computer. The early 93 f-body used this 5 pin deal and it would be best to have redone. Vince
