I'd also go with another company. They don't make LS1 4L60E's without bolt on bellhousings.
I've seen some 4L60E's as old as '95 with bolt on type. Thats going by the casting clock date on the case.

Man I have to go with the 2 above comments. I would think about going with a different tc company as well. There are a few different types of bolt on bells but they are either 298 or 300mm setup's. For the 98 and up you will require the 300mm setup. Vince

Not for LS1's. 4L60E's were one piece from '94 to ??

3 piece case, LS1 bell, 300mm input and stator. If you tell them that and they can't figure it out run like hell.Vince

Heres a pic of a 2002 with a removable bellhousing.

Do you think theres a possibility someone put an old trans in your car?

This first picture is a 1 piece fbody core. 93-97 style.

This next picture is a 3 piece case without the adapter housing bolted on it. It is a 4x4 for a truck not an fbody but the bell is the same style.

The pic in my sig is an actual ls1 fbody on our dyno. I hope this will help you figure out what you got. Vince
