Yes from reading some TSBs they can even void the warranty on the trans because you have and aftermarket air filter the oiled types

I like Transmission Physicians out of Tampa , had mine 2 years and run 10.4's on 1.4 60ft's. The guy who said 4l60e's are junk oyu're wrong. I used to sing the same tune but got educated on what a properly built one can do. VERY FEW can build one correctly but it can be done.
