Default what converter for my car?????

i have a 2000 z28 with ported throttle body, lid, true duals with single chambers,2.73 gears, soon to have a built tranny, my tranny is slipping right now. i am wanting to put a aftermarket stall converter, with gears. what would be the best gears and stall converter for what i have done to my car....cam is going in after it is paid off. not really worried about a cam right now just stall and gears. ( i was thinking of a 4k stall and 3.42) what does everyone think about my setup and stall converter and gears....

as long as its a pretty tight converter a 3500 to 4000 should be great

3.42's with a 4000 stall sounds pretty good to me, especially if you're gonna put a healthy cam in it later.
