Something kinda neat I saw for a TH350 in an Fbody
Ok I finally get this 94Z in the air that I bought several weeks ago. I knew it had a TH350 in it. However I was somewhat amazed at everything that got reused. The tranny had the 4l60e tailshaft housing on it. Therefore the torque arm bolted up fine. Stock driveshaft was in there snug--perfect fit. They had also used the stock crossmember, unmodded. All they had done was slide the right side of the crossmember forward one hole and the mount bolted up fine. Maybe some of you guys could save some money in your swaps. Nothing hacked up at all. Couldn't believe it really.

Please buy a tranny crossmember and redo it the right way.
2 tranny crossmember bolts is like running only 3 lug nuts on a wheel.
Just my opinion of course, I just don't want to see it come apart on ya.

No TH350 is sold. It was this way when I bought it. It was just kinda neat that they were able to reuse so much off the 4l60e. Actually there was only one bolt out which wasn't any big deal in my opinion. But like I said, I'm not using the TH350. I've got a 4l60e going in it.

Well the car came with the TH350 when I bought it but I already had the Probuilt A4 laying there so that's going in. I did want the overdrive for the 4.11 gear.
