Pro 5.0 installed - doesn't feel right
Is this normal? I was figuring that I would be able to slam this thing in gear pretty hard, but that is not the case. I am going to the track tomorrow and I am worried that it may actually slow me down.
Any input on the shifting feel of your pro 5.0 would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If that doesn't work, something is wrong. Not trying to be a wise ***, is the shifter installed upside down?
keep me updated if you conclude what's wrong. Meanwhile I'll keep my eye out for a good stock hurst shifter on ebay.
I have the same problem with my T56 and Pro 5.0. The problem isn't with the stops, it is the transition between the gears. It is as if the shifter isn't oriented correctly, but it is...there isn't a lot of room for rotation.

I just called Pro-5.0 and they said to send it in they would replace it. I hope that all it is just a bad shifter. I used to have a hurst on my '76 Trans Am 455 4-speed and that thing would shift as fast as you could move it. I was hoping that the pro-5.0 would do the same with a short toss added in.
