wait a couple days and I'll let you know...mine is supposed to be here monday. I should have it driving tuesday night. I got stage 2 as well.

Make sure you have a "T50 Plus" torx bit. You will not get the trans bell off with out that tool. I had to buy one from snap-on today.

It is possible with a modifed t50 and a little heat but you are correct the t50 plus is great.

LT1 guys. No torx bit needed.

If you wait a week, I can tell you how mine is. It come in mid this week. lvl2 w/3500 stall

got mine about a month ago, (stage 2 with a 3500 stall) and I love it. it shifts great when your cruisin, and when your on it. As far as longevity I cant say. bought the performabuilt after I put some drag radials on and the damn trans came apart after 2 days (already rebuilt it twice). Definately recommend you get a built unit from one of the better known distributors, rebuilds and factory units arent worth a damn on a modded f-body.

had my level and 3500 stall 2 months now and i love it. ( I have only put a few hundred miles on it put it is still there) with my bolt on car my 315 nittos still dont stand a chance against that stall.

I just finished installing my level 2 yesterday. I had a fresh vig 3600 converter so I put that back in untill I get my Yank sent out and flushed. I drove the around for a couple hours taking it real easy then brought it back to my garage to check for leaks or other problems and let it cool down. Everything was pretty much cool. I went out to my favorite test spot and did a couple WOT runs. It shifts good, no problems. The rear seal supplied with the trans is leaking slightly, I'll get a new one from GM tomorrow. I'm pretty happy so far, the leaking tailshaft isn't a big dilema. I should be making some 1/4 mile passes on Wednesday, maybe even Tuesday if the weather clears up.

Glad is going well , On the tail seal look carfully at the yoke for any sign of wear right where the seal rides when you go to change it , Also strange as this sound if its just a tiny amount if may actually quit after you drive and do a few cool down cycles I have seen it before

The yoke is fine. I noticed that the seal I took out was a double lipped seal while the replacement had one lip. I'll run it for a little while before I change it and see if it seals its self up, can't hurt.

I will check on the double verse single lip seal I didnt know which we were using I know we use precision industries seal kits but I will find out , Interesting

Well, my trans just took a crap as well. I took it to get flushed a few days back, then I tried some WOT shifts, with no luck. The trans runs fine normal driving, but at WOT, just revs like if I'm in neutral. I've been looking around, and I will be probably going with a Performabuilt one as well.
