4L60E - Manual Valve Body, what does it do?

What do they do and would I benefit from having one?

you will have to upshift and downshift manually. one benefit is no more hassle with hooking up a laptop to change shift points ever again :)

how would i go about getting that. who offers it?

Bryan @ Speed Inc. 05-21-2007 10:37 AM

trans go offers a forward manual valve body i believe.

bjamick 05-21-2007 11:07 AM

Ya you would prob end up doing better at the track bc you will control the shifts now...

Bryan @ Speed Inc. 05-21-2007 11:16 AM

it's more fun... that's for damn sure.

whats the diff between forward and reverse mvb?

BrianC98Z28 05-21-2007 05:28 PM

the difference is just that. Forward MVB is starting on the bottom for 1st and going forward to the next gear. Reverse is going down to the next gear.
