hello a couple weeks back i reistalled my tci 3500 stall converter back into my car and i lost one of the bolts and ive been driving it with just 2 bolts and im starting to get a slight vibration does anybody know what size bolts this converter takes i would greatly appreciate it thanks.

it is the tci 3500 street fighter for a lt1

I would also like to know what size they are. I think they are 3/8"x16x5/8" , but I would like someone to confirm this.

I dont know the size but i do know it could not only cause a vibration but also damage the flexplate and or converter/pump

First, I wouldn't drive the car with only 2 bolts installed. For the exact bolt size try contacting user Kevin Winstead. He works for TCI and is very helpful. Or you can remove one of the bolts, take it to a hardware store to match the thread and length.

make sure its a grade 8 bolt or stronger....i am surprised that the flywheel isnt making a knocking sound becuase it is flexing there

Gald you got it fixed I wasnt sure what to tell you there since our converters are all set up to use the OEM bolts

vibration totally gone and the converter seem to be running better both 2 bolts were very tight but i do feel a diffrence.
