Default New 4L60E playing up after instaled - Help Please

I am in Australia and have just instaled a built auto by a well regarded shop.

It was built to handle alot of HP and everything that can be done to a box was done.

The car is a 2002 Holden Commodore ( same as GTO but 4 door )

I have a stock auto program in the car.

In the just the first 30 Km of driving it has on 7 occasions decided to take off in second.

I have tried to manualy take off in first but it still started in second.

I have managed to fix it 2 times by switching the car off and back on.

But on other occasions this has not worked.

I also tried at 2 other times switching the power button off and it has found first.

But other times this has not worked.

On another 2 occasions i have switch the power button on and it has found first gear again.

This has not worked on other times

It does not bring up any DTC.

Has all this been a coincidence every time ?

Has anybody ever experienced this sort of thing ?

This issue has upset me so much and it's 12 am on Friday night at the moment and I'm looking for answers.

The stock box that was in the car was working just fine.

Any help would be much apreciated

once a tranny is rebuilt and everything is disturbed sometimes you can devlope whats known as a "lazy" shift solonoid. I had a trans rebuild on my 97 trans am, fire it up put it in D and go to hit the gas, turns out the car was starting out in 3rd gear!! i would drive it for about 30 seconds up the street, park it in my driveway and fire it back up in 5 minutes and it was fine. Obviously i took it to my trans shop to find out that there was a bad shift solonoid, not saying thats your problem but its certainly in the same direction.........within the valve body

Just an update...

It has never showed a DTC.

....thats the thing ?

I just came back from a 150 KM trip on the freeway in the middle of the night and it apears all is well.

I did several stop starts along the way and it didn't miss a beat.

Also have noticed that all the shifts are very firm now compeared to before.

Gremlins or what ???

Lets see what tomorrow is like.

Cheers
