Couple of tranny question's????

I installed my new yank py3400 converter a couple of week's ago and my question's are these. The car shift's from 1st to 2nd fine at wot and then it also shifted from 2nd to 3rd once and from 3rd to 4th I had to lift off and get back into it for it to shift. The tuner I use rode in the car today and had the tech2 hooked up and he said it is commanding the shift but because it was spinning the tire's so bad that is why it wont shift into 3rd or 4th without letting off.He said i need stickier tire's and it should be fine.So is this true or is there more adjustment's needed,or is the band's in the tranny gone?
What do you guy's think!!This tranny is wearing me out! :jest:

doubt the band is bad i you heva egood second....are you trying to go into 4th at WOT and spinning?

No, it only is spinning the tire's from 2nd to 3rd which i have to let off alittle and it go's in. There is no spin in the 3rd to 4th and i have to let off there also to go into 4th.

set your shift points 5 mph or 200 rpms earlier and see if it shifts..seems easy enuff

The only problem is i have to rely on someone else to it. I do not have the software. But the tuner I use did not even look into the program to do anything,he just said get stickier tire's and it should be ok.

Yes. Hopefully the mph or something is not in the range with the shift command.
