Is there anyway to tighten up my YANK 3200?

Is there anyway to tighten up my YANK 3200? '98 LS1 Vette 3.42 Rear with a Yank SS3200!
Around town in Parking lot:
1500-1800 RPM's Seems to loose to me!
Other members say there's are tighter!
Street Driving:
2000-2200 RPM's Again seems to loose to me for the street especially since others state theirs feel much tighter.
Is there any way that thjat my tuner can tighten it up in around town driving or is everyones similar to mine?
Let me know your suggestions and or remedies!

Yup! Tune is being done @ LAPD! Were just trying to get it the best to my liking as possible!
Also just wanting to broden my knowledge base off of others personal experience!
I read the whole post on Tranny Line Pressure! I just want to know what I can ask for and how it'll work for my Vette! (If what I'm askig for is reasonable or not!
