Default Anyone Use The J.w. Ultra Bell?

Just wondering how they fit and how bad they are to install any issues?

Got one on my TH350 and just put the trans in. I have just as much room as the stock bellhousing in my opinion.

I have heard on the ls1 engines there is a slight clearance issue with the block. I can remember what it was but I was told that there was a little grinding that had to be done to make it work. Vince

I think the bolts on the rear cover hit the inside of the ultra bell

This is true... I just did mine on Monday and all that you have to do is put the bellhousing up to the back of the block and tap it a little to get the indention (pretty much grime on the back of the block =) ... After that just take a drill and clearance those holes (3)... Put it back on and try again to see if you got exactly where it need to go... I really like mine and there's pretty good clearance... I have a 9.5" converter and there's plenty of room in there... I just wouldn't go with a stock size converter because there's not THAT much room..

I do not believe that a stock size converter will even work with a JW bell. Then again if your using a JW bell you probably have no use for a stock converter. Vince
